Take your time, don't rush.

Nice start so far.

Thanks, man! I'll be posting some more stuff tomorrow. Most likely some headshots since I'm having trouble with torsos. I'll get there though, hopefully.
Try this.

Your torsos should be from neck to belt line, 2 heads, then the shoulder from socket to socket, 3 heads width wide.

Theres more, but I'm too tired to write legibly.

Thanks, that really helps. I like the examples in the Burne Hogarth book, but there aren't really any technical sections that tell you about spacing. A buddy of mine has been giving me Andrew Loomis stuff (mostly on heads) and those helped a lot because he goes through more of a step by step approach.

Out of curiosity, are you going to San Diego Comic Con this summer? I have a jedi sketchbook and I would love to have you draw in it.
Unfortunately, I can't go. It would cost WAY too much, and for somebody like me, I'd have to sell about 2 grand worth of art, and thats about 10 times what I normally do at cons.

I mostly do Pitt and Baltimore. I am doing commissions now, but those are on hold until my Star Wars project wraps up.

Anytime you have questions, just ask. I also teach art at Penn State during the summers, so its no stretch to help people here.
